Here is the 85 Silverado C10 I recently acquired. It has an L98 TPI and a 700R transmission, even has AC. Everything is working except for the HVAC vent control. I need to trace the vacuum lines and find where the leak is.
First thing I did was order a power window relay kit. The windows go up and down no problem at all; the power locks work perfect too.
Paint is okay - no rust. Has a sliding back window. The weatherstipping is missing though. Engine needs some detailing but overall it runs well. Put some new tires on the original factory wheels with beauty rims. Pretty happy with it so far.

Welcome! My leak was behind the controls. There's a rubber "manifold" that internally fell apart and wouldn't align the doors properly. Was a right pain to track one down for replacement.

Thank you Soundmound. I need to check the hose going through the firewall first. I would not be surprised if mine ends up being like your situation though. Thanks!

Welcome from VA. I was born in Greenville. I grew up in Taylors. Abruptly moved to PI when my Dad got a job in Georgetown. I miss the old SC. Nice truck.
