    Great looking little Volvo

If a Volvo of that vintage sounds like a rod is knocking, get a timing gear set and change out the cam gear. it was a bakelite gear with an aluminum or steel hub, the bakelite would wobble loose from the hub and make a funny knocking noise. A family here at one time had the Volvo dealership, I...

Best Tie Rods Ends & Front Suspension parts?

The 14 inch pounds mentioned in the above post, that would be the required torque when going over the center of the steering gear, after going over center the torque required to turn the nut will decrease.

Best Tie Rods Ends & Front Suspension parts?

Rock Auto has a pretty good supply of components and a variety of brands. PLUS, they are a sponsor of this forum and they do list a nice discount code every so often, code lasts until they post a new code.

Been thinking radiator and battery. I know that's a big chunk of change. I`m going back to eork tomorrow so time will build on the pay clock then it wont feel like such a burden when I make the purchase. Other wise I`d charge the components then have that bill hanging over My head. :Caffeine...

    re: hello from South Dakota

Welcome John. I just want to add, that is not the old 350-V8 diesel from the Oldsmobile days of the past. That is an entirely new design, of the times, it will be the 6.2 liter V-8 diesel. That engine was carried right up through the present day in the Military Hummers. Now known as the 6.5...
