    simple way to measure stuff like this is to use a open ended wrench , kind of like a go no go gauge. the 5/16 will not fit over the fuel line , the 3/8 fits and a 9/16 fits loose. there fore you have a 3/8. I use this on bolts all the time but works with hard lines too.

    The horn is a different circuit and the column just grounds it. Hazards and T/S are on different fuses. I would recommend starting the truck and then using a test light on both sides of each fuse.

    tracked down a short to a bad torque converter solenoid, fortunately I had a spare in a junk transmission. Also removed the corvette servo , went back to the original to soften up the 1-2 shift. Didn't like it banging into 2nd.

    As others have said clean and lube the hinges, push back as its coming down will eliminate most bent hoods. I added home made stiffeners for added protection. (I believe the rivets will sheer off in a bad wreck)

    What have you done to your square lately??

    had to replace the rear yoke. When I swapped rear end gears the drive line vibration got really bad, turned out the tits that center the rear ujoint were worn allowing it to run off center. Above 60 MPH it had a horrible drone.
