Has anyone done this? Some ideas or tips could help.

Here it is so far. Tilt works. It should clear my bumper but not bumper horns. So I think I will be doing a tilting bumper as well

Has anyone done this? Some ideas or tips could help.

Those are the cuts I'm planning. Going from the bottom edge on the fenders cut straight across the inner fenders as well as cutting out some of the inner fenders to clear my rad support I will be making next. The one picture is my modified non-A/C box. I think that will clear the brake...

I'm still kinda on the fence about cutting them there but that's the only way to get the clearance for heater box which has been modified to delete the A/C portion of it. But I'm now wondering about my brake booster. Will have to take a look into that tonight.

Here's what I've come up with some far. Gotta cut the fends as so because I'm leaving the inner fenders in but need it to clear the crap on my firewall.

I've decided to build my own forward tilt front clip on my '86 Sierra Classic. I've come to a BIG roadblock on how to do this. I'm looking at how I'm going to make the clip flip forward (will want the bumper to go with the rest of the clip). I've been considering cutting my chassis right...

    TH400 SWAP HELP

Ok, so I just recently put a 7.4L in my truck and withing the same day cooked the 700r4 I was running behind it (knew it was going to happen). I just went and picked up a th400 to replace the pile of s#!* 700r4. I've never had one in this truck and it's a 1976 rv th400 behind a 1975 454. What...

Small block to big block swap. What do i need to know?

Hello everyone. The time has come for me to upgrade from a small block 350 to a BIG block 454. This is my first big block and swap and I think I'm kinda jumping into the deep end with this. What are some things I need to know for the swap. I am putting this into my '86 Sierra Classic 1500...

I am running all steal braided 6an fuel line from the carb to regulator, to pump to tank selector cluster.

    HHHEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!! Update- problem unsolved again.

Fuel pump is an inline pump made for carbureted Engine. I have it mounted down on the frame underneath just before the tank selector cluster, sits about level with the bottom of the fuel tank.

    HHHEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!! Update- problem unsolved again.

I've gone over all of those. I'm wondering if I should remove the return line from the regulator and deadhead it so it keeps the fuel up by the motor instead of sending it back to the tank

    HHHEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!! Update- problem unsolved again.

Well after all the heartache and ******** for 2 weeks. I finally realized that my fuel pressure regulator wasn't working right and I solved the issue. It was not hooked up to the correct vacuum line. So when I finally would hit highway speed my vacuum would drop right off and thus closing the...

I'll snap a few pictures here in an hour or so when I go out to start working on er again. Everything ran good and strong and fast until I had to change out my distributor and adjust my timing and what not.

I have switched back and forth between the 2 filters and besides the lack of power with the round one due to starving for air there is no change to the problem.
