Summit Brand Headers???
I have a set of their ceramic coated on my C10, but is lowered and for a Chevelle for more ground clearance. FWIW, good quality. Nice thick flanges. No complaints, but with 4WD you’re jumping through more hoops than I am.- ChuckN

What have you done to your square lately??
I thought about it when mine broke, but then I hired a guy to do it. I had NO idea how much tension those things are under and how he had to wind it up. It only broke because I didn’t lubricate the spring, it was binding as it wound and unwound. Now once a year, I spray some garage door silicone... -
AFR gauge installation
I don’t have a functioning radio, so I took it out, made a plastic plate that mounts in its place since the dash bezel was already hacked up.- ChuckN

What have you done to your square lately??
@JamesSam I wouldn’t fret over Torx vs allen head. I’d use either. If you have to saw off for correct length, you could thread a nut on there before you cut it off, and then when you unthread the nut off the end, it’ll help clean up the threads if they need cleaning up. Mine is still up on... -

Gas in Oil!?
Edelbrock carbs seem to go dry very quickly. Mine does the same as yours- have to crank it to get fuel up to the carb then fires right away. You mentioned a glass fuel filter- get rid of that pronto. They are famous for cracking and starting engine fires. Second thing- check your fuel...- ChuckN

Has anyone bought the Summit Racing AlumaRally Wheels 17s?
That has to be them just rebranded for Summit. I took a look through all of them today. Even have an 18” version if I remember correctly. I’d bet a set in 17” would look killer. I wouldn’t mind a set of 20” rallies, but so many companies are making them that in the lowered C10 world they’re...- ChuckN

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. Mine is going to Skagit Transmission this morning and is being sent to a custom shop where it’s going to be redone to the tune of 2200-2500 rpm. I don’t recall the name of the place he sends it to but I will post it here if I remember to ask him this... -

TH350 Removal
Yep, got one. I figured I’d drop the pan and check for clutch material while I’m taking it out. I have a pan with a drain plug and used a Moroso reusable gasket.- ChuckN

TH350 Removal
Getting ready to pull my trans out for the torque converter change. So, 6 bolts, trans lines, disconnect/remove crossmember, remove distributor cap for clearance, support rear of engine under pan with wood block/jack. I’d imagine I’ll need to disconnect exhaust, maybe remove headers. What else...- ChuckN
