    I thought I read you replaced the CTS. Confirm that for everyone here trying to help. Did you inspect every vacuum line. Take a flashlight and check everyone visually Did you pull the EGR valve and inspect for carbon buildup? If not, do that and see if the plunger is functioning.

    Thanks. I'm going to check Summit to see if 3 weeks is still a good lead time / assuming you didn't get the last one :) Summit has an estimated ship date of July 17 for most engines in the BPE category. The model I was looking at BP350TBICT4 as well.

    Looking at one line of the BPE warranty makes me believe that: Seems like that wording just basically says if your rings become ruined(maybe from an oil pump failure, just spit balling now) than the resultant cylinder damage makes you SOL. Decisions are hard!

    In case anyone ever has a lame brain idea to remove engine not on concrete with a picker, OSB on the bottom and 1/2" plywood on top. The wheels under engine on the picker shot right through the OSB. Once I get them jacked up and plywood on top, it came right out pretty easily. Lesson Learnt!!

    "Buff out"...that struck me funny! I dont know history of truck except it ran perfect for about 900 miles. You can see the piston is marked .030. I believe based on the head gasket that coolant flow was not great with the amount of crud caked up on the gasket on that cylinder area. Who knows...
