What have you done to your square lately??

Put in a black phantom grille, painted the front push bumper, and added a sticker. Gonna add a drop bumper, lower the back a little more, and install some helper bags.

What have you done to your square lately??

Dropped the rear of the Thurrty another inch by moving the leaf up to the higher setting on the adjustable hangers. I'll get a picture once it settles to ride height.

I think it'll look good on there, not sure about the receiver tube on the bottom, but once I get it in hand I'll figure it out.

Agreed, but the blower 55 motors are winners for me.

    e320 wagon

I've owned 2 S55 AMG cars, first one was totaled by an old lady, second I sold. Solid, comfortable for big people, and with a few mods ridiculously fast for a luxury sedan. Surprised many a pony car jockey. I think my next car will be an Audi S8 though.

What have you done to your square lately??

Got the tetanus truck to ride height. Flip out back 2" spindles and cut 454 springs up front. Runs, rides, and drives great.

Where does the engine smoothness come from?

Both Nissan RB (made famous in the Skyline) and Toyota JZ (of Supra fame) motors are routinely built to 1k+ whp and examples of JZ's with twice that exist.

Where does the engine smoothness come from?

As I understand it, NVH comes from material frequency harmonics and balance. Different materials have a variety of natural harmonics responses, so they need to be chosen carefully, and Wikipedia explains engine balance as well as anywhere else: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine_balance

The shade of amber is wrong. It looks too orange. It wouldn't bug me, but I see what he's saying.

    Lowering a 1984 silverado

If you're not opposed to cutting springs, buy a set of stock 454 springs and cut a coil off. The stiffer big block spring provides a decent ride even when cut.

    Lowering a 1984 silverado

It's too low for stock inners, but not bagged low. I'll raise it an inch and send it down the road, the next owner can decide what they wanna do. That red truck is too raked for my taste, but it looks good.
