    1st TBI Conversion Help Needed

Does it happen to have EGR? It could be that, or the IAC.

    Strange stereo problem.

Your speakers each have their own channel from the head unit, so the stereo sees 4 ohms on each one. The only way the impedance would change is if the speakers were wired in parallel or series, which unless you wired more than one per channel, they are not. Disconnecting a pair of speakers...

    Crappy day

Good move to send someone else. I'm like you. I'd end up down there finding out if he can floss with my boot laces cause my boot is so far up his ass. Best of luck, I hope this works out for you.

    Strange stereo problem.

Did you check the ground all the way to the battery? Sometimes its a ground downstream. Just a thought. I had some gauges doing funky shit one time, back when I had my '84 K20. I had tapped the fuse block for power and was grounded to the ground block behind the dash. Gauges would do all...

    Strange stereo problem.

I've never had a stereo go into any type of protection mode. I'd be looking at all the wiring and checking the 12v power leads and the ground. My money is on the ground.

    Retro looking new Chevy trucks

I think I would seriously consider a "new" square body if they were to actually do it.

    Retro looking new Chevy trucks

Imagine if GM would do a retro pickup. Kinda how Chrysler did a modern take of the old E body Cuda's and/or Challenger and Ford did the fastback mustang. I think if they did that with a truck it could really strike a chord with some people. I'd like to see it.

    Air Compressor Time

I put a plug on mine and installed an outlet in my wall. I thought in the future I may need to plug something else in. I believe I used a 40 amp breaker.

    Air Compressor Time

The Quincy is rated 15.2 cfm @ 175psi and yours is 17.5 cfm @ 175psi. So they are in the same ballpark.

    Air Compressor Time

Hell yeah! Can't beat a deal like that. I have no idea how much plasma cutters use. I just know that my media blaster uses 12 cfm @ 90psi and the compressor cycles off and on even when running the blaster nonstop for 15 minutes. Quincy makes a hell of a compressor in my opinion.

    Air Compressor Time

No plasma cutter here. That's on my wish list. lol How much air does yours require?

True, this may be the happy medium for getting it to look good. I like it. Cool concept.

    Air Compressor Time

You're going to love that thing! I have had the exact same one for 2 years and I love it. I also plumbed quick connects all over my garage, one by the garage door, one by the workbench, one to the media blaster, and a retractable reel by the compressor. I have yet to run something that it...

    Retro looking new Chevy trucks

I think it's the best looking newer truck I have seen. They could make it fit the body lines a bit better, but it's freaking badass!

    My 454 build

Thanks for the update! 049 heads are good heads. Sounds like you found a great engine to rebuild.

    My 454 build

I've never heard that it wouldn't. I've seen people run the 4/7 swaps with eddie rpm air gap dual planes.
