So got it half way in. Got holes in roof drilled. Found out there is metal in the roof. Made it a pain in ass drilling through. It's at a different angle as the slope of the top. So plexiglass came in. I used a 18 tpi carbide diablo blade to cut it. It's 1/4" thick. It turned out very clean. Just taped it in to check fit. Going to install hinges tommorow. Found some real heavy duty ones. I'll finish sanding and fill in the holes after I get hinges on. Just have to...- WomenandthePolice

That canopy door on that green k5 looks perfect. That was the idea but I thought this idea would be easier and cheaper. I found a truck tailgate with hardware for 60 bucks. Ordered plexiglass. Ok. Plexiglass sounds easiest and cheap. I was looking at sheets. Would 1/4" thickness be good? Do I need to build a frame around edges?- WomenandthePolice

Was just looking at slot where the window goes. Was thinking about cutting the outer part of the slot flush and putting in a piece of plexiglass on piano hinge. What would you think would be best find a canopy rear window frame or make one from plexiglass?- WomenandthePolice

Haha. "Accidental" was just tired of no rear wiper and a dirty widow. So put a few hollow points through it and fixed that dirty window problem. . Dallas is a bit of a ride from oregon for a tailgate. Maybe if it was just in amarillo I'd drop the hammer. Probably spend more on gas than I paid...- WomenandthePolice
