K20 getting hot when in 4Lo/slow
Is the water flowing in the radiator? Do the hoses feel hot to touch? Both of them? Heater hoses? Did you get a serpentine water pump or a v-belt water pump? They spin in different directions.- dvdswan

Fuel tank selector for 78
My 78 only had 3 ports, one from each tank and one to the pump. No returns. Single wire operation. The switch had 5 wires.- dvdswan

1984 K10 5.3 Swap Build Advice. Bang for buck power.
Find out how many miles are on the combo. The engines are good for 300k, so if it has over 150k you could bring the price down. Does it come with the PCM and t/case? I got mine (03 Tahoe LM7, 4L60, NP246 w/ harness and PCM) for 1500 with 88K on the clock. Prices vary around the country so...- dvdswan

Just fried my 2nd fuel pump. Why?
Do you have a filter between the tank and pump? I know the 110 has a internal regulator but some applications need an external as well.- dvdswan

Twin Fuel Tank Idea
There are several ways I've seen an extra tank without a switching valve. The best one I've seen, IMO, was.. filler neck of the factory tank had a "Y" pipe installed at the filler neck to reach both tanks , depending which way you held the pump nozzle. Then the spare tank had a fuel pump...- dvdswan

700r4 locking up in 2nd also locking too fast. Vac switch?
I would say the TCC is malfunctioning or the pressure switch is staying closed.- dvdswan

Better with white lettering
Great looking truck. But it really is a personal preference. I've always liked white letters out if the tires had them. Must be an 80s thing.... -

Paint color?
Mine was Mariner Blue so you probably have Hawaiian Blue. Beautiful truck for sure. I'm jelly not gonna lie.
