    225-60-17 has a diameter of 27.6". 275-45-20 comes in at 29.7, so the 20s will be quite a bit taller. Wish I could offer more help.

    My son's truck was making that noise. It was bad wheel bearings. You may have a bad wear pattern that's not readily visible.

    I have a pretty big collection of quart oil cans, all sealed and all metal. The oldest is a glass bottle from the 20's, that one is empty. Yeah, your cans have some value to those who collect them.

    No issues with runout, suspension, etc. My truck runs down the road smooth as can be at 75mph. I'll say it again, it is a very minor modification.

    No, it won't hit the barrel. And the mod isn't visible from the outside of the wheel either. Small cutting wheel on an angle grinder is the best bet. then just a little clean up. In my introductory post someone asked about my 15x10s, and I noted the mod but didn't describe it at any length.
