    You're gonna spend a LOT of cabbage to turn an inefficient brick into a slightly better inefficient brick regardless of engine and tranny choice. I have a vortec 350, multi port efi and manual overdrive. I get an honest 15 mpg at best on the highway. We don't drive these antiques for efficiency.

    It's a ground triggered system. The orange/black is the only hot wire on the load (actuator) side. Everything else is ground on the control (switches/relay) side. You want to tap into the control side, the Tan and Gray wires going into the relay.

    I have the Viper 3500 on mine. It's a good system. Mine has a ground triggered relay. I'm assuming they are all the same year to year but I would check it if it were me. A simple test light would do it.

    Current setup. If only my ears were between my knees and ankles. So much sound gets muted it makes it sound muffled. To compensate, you crank the volume which adds distortion. A giant waste of power and sound quality. I get in the Volvo with it's B&W system and it makes me want to cry.

    I debated white, black or chrome wheels. Decided on dark grey/silver to match the soon to be repainted OE bumper. It's a more modern look but I love it! If you need hubcaps, I got 3 full sets.

    Another downside of the center console is you will have no "stereo". Sound gonna be like an open differential. :laughing1:
