    4x4 in front

Welcome to the site. Do you want aftermarket wheels or would you like to run the factory style Rallye wheels that would have been an option on the '81? I have 33x12.50 on the factory 15x8 Rallye wheels on my '82 K15. An aftermarket wheel with the right offset could get you rolling too; you just...

What Air management for ‘89 crewcab?

I love those big hoops with the OE wheel covers. That’s the first time that I’ve seen that setup. That is a clean and straight ride that you have there. Welcome to the site too. HS

What have I gotten myself into

Welcome from central NC. LB Stepsides are not seen often especially in 30 series form. I like it! I'm kinda bias though as I have a 79 C20 and just sold a 79 Big 10. Post more pics and info on the ride. HS

Does anybody know what this is for??

It may be there for the 4x4 wiring. It didn't appear to be a 4x4 or manual trans truck though. Hmmm... Strickland

What have you done to your square lately??

So, my brothers & I divided up my dad's stuff earlier this year. I have his old 55 & his 79 Crew so I was able to get all the spare parts. He had a bunch of door handles, the "3+3" emblems & other stuff in the twister box. Where he got the box I'll never know... HS

Is rear side window identical on 1990 Burb and 1980s dual/bonus cab?

The 73-80 glass is thicker than the 81-87(91) along with the change in the vent windows during the same eras. The rear stationary glass has me questioning. I'd definitely snag the one from the parts truck anyway; I'm certain that it could be used even if there were small differences. Strickland

    New Bitchin Camaro…

Ha! I never thought about that comparison. The car has a Flowmaster exhaust and new top as well as being a low mileage, tight driver. I wish we could have gotten the Jade Green 92 T/A convertible, but that didn't happen and when we went and drove this car she was more than satisfied with it...

Questions about turning a Burb into a 4 door pickup

This is not a Square but it's definitely cut. This vehicle was given to me and the PO said that I must do something with it and not keep it factory. So...it met the chopping block! I made me a general purpose truck seeing as my other two trucks are crew long beds. This one is easy to get a...

Kind of bittersweet but it was a must. Sold the Big 10 but it went to a great new owner.

Is this a direct fit rearend for my 87 V10?

Here's a pic where I did the perch movement on my '04 14FF. It worked great but I did have to change the pinion yoke so that I could use my old sized u-joint.

Is this a direct fit rearend for my 87 V10?

I have a 14FF similar to that in my 55 Chevy that sits on a 76 K20 chassis. The spring perches have definitely been moved in on that axle. The newer truck frames are almost a foot wider than the old Squares and when using the newer rear axle you must move the shock and spring perches. Looks like...

What have you done to your square lately??

Pinching pennies here. I’m working on 79-80 door panels and the dash pad from a 91 Sub. Maybe they’ll be worth putting into the 82 K1500 when I’m done.

    LD Calipers to HD Calipers

I believe that set 153 works in place of the normal 52 when using the larger caliper. You may have to look up a C20 pickup to get the number. Seems like the 149 are for the ton trucks with the "Bendix" style brake caliper. HS

That looks like a pretty solid ride. I'm working on an '82 K1500 6.2 right now myself. I love those ole Detroit's. Strickland
