Does anybody know what this is for??

Hello. Does anybody know what these two screws are for? One is a bolt, the other looks like a screw. They aren't holding anything on, the floor is embossed for them for some reason. I've know this truck since it was new and nobody did any work on it until now. It's not a bid deal, I'll just remove them and weld the holes, I'm just curious. I forgot to mention this is on the drivers side floor behind where your right heel would be. Thanks.

My guess is it's for a wire harness clamp for the transmission signals. Neutral, reverse etc. Just forward of that on the firewall is another bendable clamp.

It may be there for the 4x4 wiring. It didn't appear to be a 4x4 or manual trans truck though. Hmmm...
