    Do all V1500 come with Double Cardan Joints?

    Yes. Double Cardan "CV" constant velocity. There's a ball & spring along with an "H" yoke. It's been a couple decades since I've had to replace the joints in one. HS

    Just loosen the retainer & spin it. It won't move much if you have the fuel filter located back there tho. HS

    I'm in the yard taking junk from one truck to another. I'm gonna fix this 76 Rado yet. First thing I've really done since 11-30-23. I'm just over 5 weeks out from neck fusion surgery. Thank GOD for healing & plenty of Squares to wrench on! HS

    Welcome to the site. I don't know if the '88 and newer column will fit the older Square. They have many of the same parts from the wheel to column but I don't know if they bolt to the dash with clamshell and flange to the firewall the same. HS

    I used many parts on my '55 6100 truck. A '76 K20 frame with an '04 G3500 rear axle and 10 bolt 8-lug front axle. Here is a pic of how much wider the rear track width with the 14FF installed. There are 37x12.50 16.5 BFG's mounted on the axle in the pic. HS

    The transmission output should be the same as long as you are using the TH350. The TH400 output is different as is the SM465 manual. The output shaft on the NP205 could be a fixed or slip yoke style as well. IF you had two trucks with the same wheelbase & TH350 then you should be able to use the...

    Welcome to the site from NC. I know that all the CC's that I've seen have been LB from the General. I have heard that USAF trucks were CCSB...but I have never seen a GM like that. I have seen Ford & Dodge CCSB trucks however. Even IHC made CCSB trucks... HS
