    Show Us Your Man Cave

When whoever built my shop had it done they did not put in a sink. I can't figure out why. There is already water right outside the door but they did not go ahead and add water to the inside of the building. Really wish they had before the concrete was poured. I could use one.

    Subwoofer.

Here are some I had in a 83 C10. Not 12's though. Two Kicker 10's and two amps, the seat was able to go all the way back with this box. Pics arent very good. The truck I dive now just has 1 10 in a box and it lets the seat go back also. It's not the best sub. I think it's a Pioneer. Sounds ok...

I was really into old Kawasakis for a long time. Down to only one now, a 1980 KZ1000. Had several of the Z900 bikes but have sold them all. If he needs inspiration he should check out this site. Even though it's a KZ site there are several GPZ guys on there. http://www.kzrider.com/forum...

    Problem with 1984 Z28 HO

This is all I have at the moment. I will take some more. Pretty soon it's going off to paint and fix a few dings.

    Problem with 1984 Z28 HO

Believe me, you are not the first one to mention this.....the wife and kid found this very funny. I ordered bushings and bolts from Hawks. I saw all the nicer bars and various other suspension parts to put money in but just ordered the bolts and bushings this time. The bushing that was in...

Hi from Bs. As. - Argentina

Cool to see a truck from Buenos Aires. I visited your city back in 2005 on my way to Cordoba. Pretty crazy driving in the city. We ate some great beef there near our hotel.

    Problem with 1984 Z28 HO

It was the panhard bar. Went out at lunch today to jack the car up, and the bolt is completely missing on the drivers side. This car has a new gas tank, wondering if the previous owner had to remove that bar to get the gas tank in and didn't tighten it well enough.

    Problem with 1984 Z28 HO

I just bought a 1984 Z28 HO for my daughters first car. My wife drove the car about 225 miles the day we bought it with no problems. Today I drove the car about 65 miles at all speeds up to about 75 mph with no problems. Once I was about 12 miles from home and taking off from a dead stop I got...

    Replacement Door Panels

I appreciate the response and am pretty sure I will end up buying another truck built after 81 at some point so all info is good.

    Replacement Door Panels

Both of the trucks I will need door panels for are 70's. A 75 and a 78. The 78 I probably won't be overly picky on but I would like the 74 to be as close to stock looking as possible.

What have you done to your square lately??

That looks slightly better than the large industrial zip ties I used to help mount my radiator when I bought the wrong one and my mounts wouldn't work.

Look what I am in the process of buying

That really sucks. I have had a couple of bad experiences on Craigslist but for the most part I have been really lucky and people have done what they said they would do. Hope you find another one. I love the 60's trucks also. Just like the way the cabs look. I wanted to buy this one and put a...

    Replacement Door Panels

Is there a difference between the replacement door panels offered by LMC versus those offered by Classic Industries or Brothers? Just curious if they all get them from the same manufacturer or if they are different and one is higher quality than the others.

    2" Lift w/ 33's

Awesome truck. I have been wanting to see pics of this same set up. My truck sits a little too high for me and I want to go to 33's also.

Another Gauge Cluster Question or 3

I did this last night, there are only two wires I see that could remotely be called tan and one of those ends up going down into a harness that leads toward the transmission. The other wire, (looks more brown to me) has the end cut off. Rather than splice to it, I am just going to put a...

Another Gauge Cluster Question or 3

This is the 1982. I will search for that wire. Unfortunately I'm not seeing out in plain sight but I guess that would be too easy.

Another Gauge Cluster Question or 3

Neither, I just meant I saw the one in your pic with the boot. That wire looks a lot lighter in color than the one on my truck that I was hoping went to my gauge. I haven't found anything on my truck with a boot like that yet. The brown wire I found has no end on it at all. I'll find it, had...

Another Gauge Cluster Question or 3

OK, I see the one you are talking about. Definitely not the same color of one that I found.

Another Gauge Cluster Question or 3

I did read it, just had forgotten. I assumed the sensor was good because I just got it Friday. However, you were both correct. The sensor was bad, or for whatever reason it did not work with that gauge at all. I put the original sensor back in and let the truck warm up and it worked. Every...

Another Gauge Cluster Question or 3

Well I am really confused. This sender was just installed. I have 3 different senders at the moment. Is it possible to test a sender, either in or out of the truck?

The Grant wheels have an adapter kit to make them fit our trucks.

    Show Us Your Man Cave

I really want a lift. I have some physical problems with back and neck that a lift would really help me with. First I need a good compressor, that's the next thing on my list. Right now I just have a small portable one. Wish it was insulated too. Feels like an icebox in the winter.

Another Gauge Cluster Question or 3

You are correct, I do not have any resistors laying around. I did have several bulbs though. I believe it is the correct wire. The gauge stays right around 100 while hooked up to the sending unit. I drove the truck four miles. Gauge never moved. Got out and touched the brass part of the...
