I just bought "Big Blue" back after selling it 11 years ago. Big Blue is a 1979 GMC Sierra K25. When I bought it in 2001 it only had 41,700 original miles. I did a complete restoration which included a second gas tank, 4" lift kit, new interior, paint, and other custom touches. I was injured in the line-of-duty and forced to retire from law enforcement and during that process had to sell my truck to save our house. Finally, after 11 years the people I sold it to contacted me and asked me if I wanted to buy it back. Now the truck has a whopping 57,349 miles on it. I am going through it and assessing what needs to be done first and then what changes I will make during this restoration. I hope to take some pictures and post them soon. I look forward to getting ideas from other forum members for this restoration.
