    DIY paint??

I bought it in 1999 for $3800 with 53k on the clock. Sold it in 2016 with 239k for $2700. Lol... So under 200k. I had Jeeps and trucks and bikes in between. Sent from my moto g(7) play using Tapatalk

    DIY paint??

I actually had that car for like 15yrs and over 200k miles. I put new carpet in it when I painted it, and obviously had a swapped/upgraded engine and transmission. Hondas really do run forever. It let me down 3times: one alternator and 2 ignition coils. Otherwise, 36mpg minimum and a pretty...

    DIY paint??

I found a couple on my solid drive. HF gun, tcp global primer and urethane. It was like a $200 kit? (I think $60 extra for the 2k primer) I don't seem to have any good primer pics or any totally finished pics where I redid the window trim metal in black. Varying degrees of progress. I had it for...

    DIY paint??

Haha...yeah, those frickin gnats. I had about 6 on the car. Less on the truck because it was a different time of year. I'd love to see pics of yours. If I can find any pics of the hatch I did, I'll post them up as well. I'm pretty sure they're on a solid drive at my house. I may even have pics...

    DIY paint??

I had zero experience when I painted my first one. There's definitely a learning curve (and it's a ton of work), but I'm planning on painting my square in the driveway this summer. It won't be perfect, but its not perfect now, either. Who says it has to be perfect? It seems to me like a...

The hardest what? I'm assuming a bolt down there for the tilt plate or sumthin? I'm wondering if I should just replace all the damn switches on the way through, but I'm having a little trouble finding a cheap delay wiper switch, etc, and by the time I do all that I think a whole new column...

What have you done to your square lately??

Yep, that's about right. Not nearly as hard as I thought, but they need to come through the hole where the door handle is. It takes some patience and getting the angles right, but not too bad. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

I took 2 eggs and put them in a bowl in the microwave once with about 4 layers of saran wrap over the whole thing (you know, because I figured they'd explode). Well around the 2.5min mark, it exploded the whole glass bowl with enough force to blow the microwave door open and spew boiling egg...

You're talking about coal tar epoxy? Like the marine stuff? I've never messed with it before, but I know what you're talking about and I bet it would work pretty well considering they use it on boats.

Good looking out, man. I'm actually about to tear in to my column soon to fix a sloppy tilt wheel. I'm not looking forward to it. I have all the tools sitting here mocking me, and I have the feeling that I'm too sloppy to go that deep in to this thing without fucking it up. lol....

I put new wheel cylinders on the other day, and I put my left rear wheel back on without the drum.

C-10 must be different than k10? ETA: I'm sure they've got 1/2-20 ones, too. Probably even cheaper.

What have you done to your square lately??

Stfu, man, I'm old. :D The funniest part is that I went out to get "real" shoes and they were an afterthought extra pair. They were on sale for $18 and I was like fuck it...... they'd be nice around the house and stuff. I liked them so much I bought 4 more pairs and kept them in the closet...

New mirror glass a few mins ago. Got lucky and advance auto only had the drivers side in stock. $8. Some say they're universal? Anyway, the factory had about a gallon of silicone on the old one, so I siliconed the new one in the same fashion to keep it as original as possible. :D (plus, the...
