    Evaporator box water drain

    Looks like "Craig 85" posted some pics/reply while I was posting. Not in the cab. Outside, at the bottom of the evap box, right up next to the firewall. A small hole about 3/8"-1/2" dia. I had to use a mirror and flashlight to see it. Thanks Craig 85 for the prompt reply. Check out the pics...

    87 Suburban Heater Core Box Question

    The rod has a flat spot that must engage the flat spot in the mixer. The end of the rod with the flat spot will be visible in the small "witness" hole on the main plenum.I always coat the rod with a little grease before insertion to make things easier.
