    Ticking/Rattle on acceleration

    before you do anything. Take a good flashlight and some free time and go through the entire engine bay, and under the truck and just look around. you will be amazed at what you see. If you don't find anything do a leakdown test.

    Find a 3/4 ton burban with a 14bolt FF rear. Some had 4.56 gears, or get a cucv rear-end with 4.56 and factory Detroit and have the perches rewelded. 10bolts with big tires and tall gears are so unless on a big heavy truck.

    injectors on a 6.0 are pretty much maxed out right from the factory. Ford mustang SVO injectors are 30Lbs and are what a lot of guys use. Also 496/8.1 injectors are 30Lbs and 496/8.1 Marine are 42lbs. I think 30Lb will work for 450-500NA horse power. If you are running a turbo or supercharger...

    check battery volts with truck off, should be like 12.5 volts. Next check volts with truck running should be 14.5. At this point you know the alternator is doing its job. My honest guess is you have a ground problem. Take all the grounds apart clean to bare metal and retighten.

    79 chevy starting issues

    If you have 12v at the trigger wire and the starter doesn't crank then your starter is bad. The trigger is the smaller of the two wires. I think its pink or purple.
