79 chevy starting issues

The other day I went to start my truck and no action with the key, thought maybe starter went back so replaced it with one I had laying around and still nothing. 12 volts at the starter. Lights and everything else works just nothing happens when I turn the key. Any help is appreciated!

If you have 12v at the trigger wire and the starter doesn't crank then your starter is bad. The trigger is the smaller of the two wires. I think its pink or purple.
