    Exhaust ideas!?

This is the first time I've ever used an xpipe, although I have to have the mufflers replaced, the truck sounds good and seems to run better, still have some carb adjustments to do but overall it sounds much healthier, just not the tone I wanted, but that's because of the super10 mufflers he...

    New gauge issue.

Will check the fuses, didn't even think of that one, I had an oil pressure gauge from another dash but it didn't work at all but was pegged at 60 when I installed it, put the original back in and it also showed 60, before I tried swapping, it read 0

    New gauge issue.

I have a triple gauge pod that is wired up on lower part of dash that has water temp and oil pressure and volts, it is plumbed to the side of the drivers side block but it's not in the best of shape, really cheap gauges, the oil gauge isn't hooked up in the dash and used to read zero, but now is...

    New gauge issue.

My oil gauge never worked before always stayed at 0, I have an aftermarket pod that works but isn't perfect. I tried swapping the gauge and it all of a sudden is pegged at 60, went back to original gauge and it is at 60 full time, my stock water temp gauge always worked but now it stays at zero...

    Exhaust ideas!?

Exhaust is done! Haven't seen it yet but have a pic of it and a couple vids, may need some tweaking/redoing eventually, ran into an issue with the crossmember, apparently these trucks were designed for one pipe over and one pipe under the crossmember, so for now this will be how it is, but I...

    epoxy primer question

I'm no expert but if there are areas you have to work on you just take it to bare metal and feather your edges out fix it then re prime your spots, if you feather the edges you can build up the primer in that area and then knock it back down when you block sand for paint. Any experts can chime...

    th350 problem please help

Mine wouldn't shift right when I'd try to pass someone, found that someone had put a rubber hose that was too big on the modulator valve. It's a rubber hose that goes to a metal tube then a rubber hose to the vacuum port on the intake manifold or rear of carb, not sure which exactly, I fixed...

    Rear sliding window help!

My rear slider sometimes comes off track and gets hard to open and close, and when it closes it rattles and annoys me, lol! Any way to fix this with new felts, rubbers etc? And where do I get them from, or what are they called?

Cold snap starts shift issues on 700R4

I also had to replace the rubber vacuum hose that plugs into the back of the transmission modulator, mine wouldn't shift into passing gear and felt really soft when it would shift.

    Choke adjustment?

Ok, well after letting it sit all day and a balmy 40 degrees, I decided to check my carb choke adjustments I made last night, to my shock and awe, I pushed the throttle with my hand and the choke closed almost all the way, went in the cab and cranked it over, almost fired first turn, and no...

    Choke adjustment?

Carbs confuse the hell out of me to be honest, and I know I shouldn't be messing with it but I have to learn sometime! Lol the video I saw made it look so simple but when attempting it didn't seem so simple! I got the plate all the way closed but when I tried to start I hadn't pressed the pedal...

    Choke adjustment?

Just to explain a little, I noticed my choke was always about a half inch open even after sitting all night, so I thought I'd try to adjust it on my own, something I should have had help with but you learn from mistakes right? Lol

dizzy vac line to front of carb

Was watching videos last night and figured something else out, I don't have the choke pull off on the rear of the carb, I rerouted all my vac lines where the should be, left egr disconnected, to use it I think I need a new part, it's a little plate with two metal tubes coming out of it, one tube...

    bouncy speedometer

Yeah I figured it's the cable, but ultimately it's an old truck, going to have problems, only things that really keep me happy is that it's finally running better, will actually spin the rear wheels when it wouldn't before, shifts into passing hear and trans shift good but could be better with a...

dizzy vac line to front of carb

Haven't figured out if it's rich or not, I can smell fuel but with these old trucks in not familiar with whether or not it is rich, I talked to a member on here about an issue a friend noticed about a little gas shooting up from inside the carb a little when adjusting my dizzy, right now I'm...

dizzy vac line to front of carb

Was messing with the distributor today because it was loose, had to fix the plate that holds the dizzy, while doing so a friend pointed out that my vacuum advance was plumbed to a post in the back of the intake, I moved the hose to the front of the carb, seemed to make a huge difference, can...
