    Passenger lower control arm

What would the cost be for both bottom control arms shipped to 62864? I've got one that is bent and the shock mounts are a little twisted on passenger side, this also could make it easier for me to start putting in my bushings I got last year!

    Ridler 645

Finally got my wheels, ty craigslist! Got a good deal and these things are brand spankin new, tires are Achilles Desert Hawk and still have nubs! Fronts are 20x8.5 245/45/20 tears are 20x10 275/45/20. Totally a different ride and different truck with these! Lol

    Front disc dragging

Get a new caliper, they're cheap, unless it is new than it could be a bad remanufactured part. Might clamp the caliper fully open then hit the brakes to close it, then repeat a few times, I'm betting a bad caliper though!

I've been to gateway before for midnight madness, I'd make the trip but not every weekend, Bentons track is cheaper and only 30 mins away! Lol

    Project 383

I guess I should state what I'm thinking I'm wanting, right now it isn't a daily driver but it gets drivin a lot, but every so often I want to go to a test and tune night at our local 1/8 mile track, probably never see a 1/4 mile track since the closest is about an hour and a half away. while...

    Project 383

With the edelbrock heads I can get a discount through my part time job, just not sure what I need to get. Need to figure out all the specs I guess before anything. Hopefully the block will be done by next week. That's the main thing first to get it bored, decked and line honed.

    Project 383

I'm aiming for 400 hp, give or take, I'm wanting to get back the feeling I had when I had my Challenger, I had to give it up a year and a half ago because of bills and my own stupidity of taking off too much work. I'm pretty sure my goals aren't to far fetched, I've been looking at a scat...

    Project 383

Not sure actually, I'm new to this stuff so I'm trying to figure out if I should run new heads or have some built, I don't want to skimp on parts but don't want to waste time either. I'm willing to take suggestions on what I should look at though!

    Project 383

Well I finally decided to do a 383 for my 79 gmc, got an 010 short block from a local pic a part. Took it all apart and just dropped the block off at a local machine shop for cleaning and checking, crossing fingers it is a good block. Everything in it was stock with flat top pistons and a double...

    350 Identifying ????

Picked up a short block today, not completely sure what I have is great or not but thought I'd take a chance. It's a two bolt main, 3970010, suffix code on the pad is V0624CUB. There is a GM 38 cast on the block also. After a little searching I've come up with a couple possibilities of what this...

Replacement pad/barrier that goes under the carpet.

Also check behind your kick panels, they love to rust through and allow water to drain into the cab from the cowl area

    Rookie Mistake Need Help

J knight is the man when it comes to this, well I'm sure there are others but he has informed me quite a bit in things and knows his stuff! Here's mine with 2 cut coils and a leaf removed, everything else is stock. The front springs have a rider in both springs to get the front up a bit...

    Rookie Mistake Need Help

It looks like you've got about a 5/7 or 5/6 drop with your setup as is, so you lowered the front 2.5" with the spindles and cut 1 coil off a set of stock springs or 1 coil off some lowering springs?! One coil removed shouldn't be more than two inches of drop. Maybe even 1 1/2" per coil.

    Tran..

I would assume you may have to change torque converters or maybe there is an adapter? Haven't messed with this stuff and still learning. I know with an Ls motor I can use my 350th with it by using an adapter and modifying the bolt holes in the flex plate. Might be the same thing for the 454?

    Ls1 block score!

Appreciate the advice, looking at getting a book to aid me in the Ls area, I'm confident enough in the older motor areas to do it but I'm also relying on a friend to help who builds small blocks for a living, he's giving me pointers on it. I'm not looking to make a fortune but if I could break...

    Ls1 block score!

345-400 hp range is what I'm ultimately after, just can't decide which way to go, Ls is so popular, but I'm more old school at heart, just can't make up my mind except to maybe build both! Lmao this is actually frustrating to make up my mind! Is that wrong!? Lol
