    Well if your block is in reusable condition save money and time and use it... but it might well be ruined. If you get another used engine it's gamble... might last forever might not. New 454 crate engines are pricey, so probably not an option.

    Just started installing a Uniden 510XL in my 95 Suburban. Using some 12" antenna off eBay. Can't seem to get the SWR down even though I have shortened the antenna as much as possible. Might try a really old Turner Sound Kicker 48" antenna somebody gave me and see if that does any better.

    Locking Tailgate Handle

    I don't know if this is helpful but not don't limit your search to full-size chevy trucks. My 07 Colorado has a locking tailgate handle and while there are not as many of those in the junkyard it's a completely different truck than the Silverado/Sierra so it might have a "closer" locking system...

    I vote Rough Country. It seems more popular thus leading to easier to find help and parts for if needbe. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though because I have experience with neither.

    Well... it probably isn't overpriced, I'm just getting frustrated at how rare/expensive 6.2 diesel squares are. Looking for a daily driver to repalce my 07 Colorado four banger that I don't like. I get ~17MPG average fuel economy and I think a 6.2 square body could do that...

    Bad gauge? Can you verify pressure with a real mechanical gauge? Might save you troubleshooting a problem that may or may not exist.
