    What it sounds like to me is you have the original 208 shifter/ linkage hooked to a swapped in 203. Therefore the shifter/linkage is a 3 position (2h, 4h, 4l) shifter mated to a 4 position (4l, 4h, 2l, 2h) transfer case. I am not counting neutral. The 208 is a 2h forward position and the 203 is...

    You have the selector for a 700r4. When you put it on OD, you are actually in D for the TH350. That would be 3rd gear which is all a TH350 has. Your truck probably came with an NP208. The shift pattern indicates that, but who knows what tcase you actually have after the swap.

    mine "sort of" did the same thing. It would shift at 15, 35 and 50 mph and no converter lockup. my problem was that the contacts on the brake pedal plunger were not making contact in the pedal rest position. this was changing my shift points. i cleaned the contacts and bent them a little...

    my 1000 foot elevation change driving to work and back (if I do drive the truck) is killing my MPG.... at best I get 8 mpg and I drive like a grandma.
