It is seamless. On the corners, I warmed the vinyl and work it out to the edge. The trick is, a LITTLE heat, and a little stretch on the vinyl.

Reupholstering a Bench seat. Picture Heavy

The front seat would have cost around $400 in my shop if it was a customers seat. It had many problems, lots of foam damage, frame damage, and missing springs. I also DON'T cut corners. Some shops will cover the same seat for less that half the price, but they don't fix foam, frame, etc...

Clean up the hinge covers and seat beats. Steam the form cushions, to make it softer, and fill out the new covers better. Glue the foam back together, and reinforce with felt, or burlap. Weld up broken frame if damaged. Put to all back together and enjoy!!!

Lay the pattern over the sewn section and trace with chalk. Make sure to transfer the dart makes. I sew around the section with the pleats to lock the seams in on the ends. Lay out the other pieces, and trace, and cut. These don't get backing foam on them.

Heads up on 3" drop spindles

I used 2 1/2 drop spindles on my truck to be able to clear 15'' rims. I also had to bend the brake lines to keep the hoses out of harms way. The weird thing is the amount the spindles actually dropped the truck!

    87 Power Window Problem

I had to pull my window motors and regulators. Pull the end off the motors, and clean out all the dried up grease, and re lube the motors and regulators. Now they move great. The rollers need to be in good shape, and clean the roller tracks on the glass, and in the door.

Bet careful when going into corners with a bigger, heavy, trailer. Towing with a lifted truck is ok but handles a little different. I tow my tractor on a 16 foot trailer, with a Full size Jeep, 4" lift on 35s. 60 and 70 mph, no problem. I pile it into a corner at speed,,,, hand full! Be...

    Aftermarket EFI? Anyone Tried It?

Ran Holley Pro-jection system on a C10 and an off-road Jeep for about 10 years. Worked great. No matter what you use, take your time and install it right. Don't get in a hurry. When you cobble fuel injection systems, they will give you trouble. I currently have a TPI 305 in my truck. I get 18...

    Hydraulic Flaring Tool

Here you go. Used it to make an end on a power steering hose to day. I'm also changing my sending unit from o-ring to push connect. It will eliminate three fittings. A savings of about $45.
