anybody ever remove the springs on a TBI throttle shaft?

Ok a quick update!!! I took the spring off the opposite side from the cable linkage. One screw and popped the spring out, big difference in the throttle linkage tension!! I made a spacer out of a brass door bushing to take up the space of the spring, not sure if that was necessary but its in and...

anybody ever remove the springs on a TBI throttle shaft?

seems to be a issue with that year, can't figure out why they put a spring on each side of the shaft for return, even if I could reduce the spring tension would be a plus

anybody ever remove the springs on a TBI throttle shaft?

posted in here earlier, thinking of removing the springs on my TBI and going with regular return spring like a carb set up. seems to be overkill on the spring tension and would make for a softer pedal, easier to feather into the throttle. Any thoughts??

What is an goodwrench targetmaster 350?

I use Citrol for degreaser/cleaner. Its biodegradable and works great.if you got decent water pressure you can just spray most of the dirt and grime off in a couple rounds of using it. spray it on and let it soak for 10-15 minutes then wash it off. just google Citrol and you can see where you...
