    Or......imstall the sensor on the top portion of the header before the flang instead of an angle. There are several ways of installing them, but at an agle? Thats a new one for me. If mounted vertically, they wont collect moisture. Hell, slightly above horizontally would work too.

    Heated sensors don't do shit. Installed mine...drank the kool - aid and nope...doesn't do a damn thing.

    X2..if exempt from smog testing...gut that like a fish. Ditch the converter, smog pump, plug the exhaust manifold air tubes and then proceed to clean up the engine bay of all the spaghetti vac lines.

    I picked mine up off ebay... $80 and it solved the no cruise control issue. Good luck finding them anywhere else. If you do happen to find one on a salvaged truck, chances are the electronics are wasted from sitting in the elements. 80's technology and moisture don't mix well.

    X2 bed swap can be done, just modify the filler neck...hell people even swap beds from 90' chevy's.....:doublepuke: anywho...beds up to 87 work fine with minor mods. There is more involved swapping front clips then the beds.

    Yes you will have to flush. Once you open the system it becomes contaminated. The compressor from what I have been told should be fine once flushed. You should also get a new oriface tube as they too get clogged and contaminated...at $5 its cheap insurance. These evaporators operate more...
