    The vendor parts that work, parts that don't.

    The flexible vent that feeds the passenger vent from the main ac vents from LMC TRUCK is a piece of crap. It doesn't fit. Same size (4") as local hardware flexible vent tube that also doesn't fit. Going to send it back and rube up hardware flexible vent tube. LMC Catalog P175 Item 43

    breaking in a fresh 350

    After cam break in, I find it's best to drive it, never holding at a single RPM. Let the engine pull then let it cost to keep the loaded RPM varying.

    Just left Big Boy static display in Tucson. Will post pictures when I get home. Tomorrow I hope to get more pictures of it on the move.

    Does my engine have a chance of living?

    Have not read all the posts. Crossover suggestion seems right on. My guess is the flappy valve on the passenger exhaust might be stuck closed forcing hot exhaust in the crossover all of the time. The extreme heat just causes the oil to overheat.
