Lock nut for rockers so tight its breaking tools
So yeah..my lock nuts on my rockers were so tight i broke two drivers and bent an allen wrench trying to remove them. No locktight visible. 700r4 TC identification
OK I found the info....This is a higher stall speed than the 18al. Im frikken scoring left and right with this truck.. Didn't know the trans was practically new and has a higher stall speed which will greatly benefit my build- Swearbody

I have a 700r4 that the previous owner had replaced in 2016. I discovered the 4 prong plug has been disconnected and am trying to verify if the TC is lockup capable (meaning the PO just forgot to plug it back in) or if it has been replaced with a non lockup converter. I think the early 90s bench seats(92-95ish) had a headrest. Could just adapt to your rail. Ive seen that done and turned out looking like oe -

This sounds like a improperly adjusted choke. The timing by ear is a little sketch too what does this even mean?? what Gauge? DO you mean the timing tab? The file is too big to upload. I can email it to you if needed. The engine came out of my 84. 305 with 150k Runs ok and does not miss or run hot. No knock. Slight lifter tap on #1 after warming up and oil pressure drop to 20psi@750rpm after warm.60psi+ cold climbs 10psi off idle to 30 so... -

Hell yeah man. Thats some good chit. I finally got a good look at everything when i took the 305 out. The lockup 4pin socket wasnt plugged in at the trans nor the 2pin at the vac switch. furthermore there is a date on the trans 0f 9/10/16 and a newer converter as well.
