Need HELP
I wiped out what I could, after cleaning up the mating surface for the gasket/cover, making sure I got all the loose crud out. Put some light oil in a squirt bottle to flush all the areas I couldn't reach, and let it drip overnight in the garage. Looked a LOT better in the morning, besides the...- Girth

The "fix" would be as you said, complete tear down and overhaul. Or... depending on how you use it, maybe just hope for the best? Get it inside, drained, wipe out what you can, let it dry out, refill with fresh oil and just run it. After running it a short while, drain it/refill again. You don't...- Girth

Can't say. What size are they? Probably a "metric" size? 285/75-18 or something like that? The first number is your section width, sidewall to sidewall in mm. The second number is the "aspect ratio", basically your sidewall height. In my example, your sidewall is 75% as tall as the tire is wide...- Girth

As to your question about the terminals for the power windows.... yeah, I was searching for those too. One is broken in my master switch, and I'm sure I'll find others. I could NOT find any for sale at a reasonable price. Found some GM PNs, and aftermarket PNs, but everyone was out of stock... -

Other than a wider tire on the same wheels, not really. Looking at whats on there now, you might run into clearance issues, and even that won't really chance the "stance", just the overall look. Good point, and thank you. I remember noticing the gaskets around the hinges, where they come through the door skins, are GONE. Sure that contributed to the rust around the drain holes in the bottom of the door, so those just got added to a parts order. Perfect excuse to mess with the hinges...- Girth

Barn door won't latch fully...
Kinda what I figured. Drove it the other day and heard a wicked rattling from the back.... sure enough, RH barn door wasn't latched all the way. Wife must be spoiled, after I adjusted/fixed the other doors so they close properly, she didn't check to make sure this one was shut. I'll let you...- Girth

Barn door won't latch fully...
..... without slamming the thing. Similar to how the other doors react when the strikers wear out. (Fixed those already) Left side barn door latches just fine, but the right, if you don't slam it, it won't latch fully and will rattle. Thanks for the warm welcome, and good to see a lot of local-ish folks. :) First chance to get a helper AND daylight at the same time..... just checked, and the rag joint is solid as can be. No slop whatsoever in the steering shaft. Drag link.... kind of another story. I can grab the adjuster...- Girth

Haven't dived into the steering shaft yet, beyond just looking at it.... rag joint LOOKED ok, but I'll have to dig more. The drag link has a bit of an angle to it. Not much, but I'd say its an inch lower in the back than it is at the pitman arm. Looks like a Rough Country high steer arm on the...- Girth
