Headers/fastners
I use studs with long brass nuts and exhaust lock tabs. I never seen the copper lock nuts in other than metric sizes. You could make custom studs with metric threads and use the copper nuts. Which would be very extravagant but a nice detail.- ali_c20

Engine mount replacement?
I buy polyurethane inserts and reuse the shells. I have not recognized any difference in vibration between rubber and poly mounts.- ali_c20

Comments on gear pattern?
Setting the preload and torqueing down the nut does not change pinion depth. Getting the right preload is fun with shims, can be time consuming :D.- ali_c20

Wiring harness options
AAW is more $ but has more connectors so you don't have to get new or reuse connectors. Painless is cheaper and customizable and has more circuits. I will use weatherpack connectors for my c20 built with a painless harness. AAW requires/recommends special crimping tools which are ~150$. I...- ali_c20

Automatic hubs
The hubs will fit, otherwise you could not convert auto or full time 4wd hubs to manual locking hubs. On auto locking hubs with 3 hole cap screws you have to do a spindle nut conversion too. If you want to keep the auto hubs just try if they fit to the new axle. Consider upgrading to manual hubs...- ali_c20
