Factory Rubber Cab Mounts or Polyurethane?

I just placed two orders with LMC. Everything has gone up $5 to $25, depending on what you order. Pretty soon all these trucks I'm working on for the grand kids are going to be in the Ferrari realm for value!

Factory Rubber Cab Mounts or Polyurethane?

Anybody have any pros/cons from their personal experience about which are better/worse than the other? Truck is a 1986 GMC 2500 Sierra Classic 2wd.

1973 K5 Blazer full removable top a little high but is it rare???

I stand corrected. Didn't see where the roof goes all the way to the windshield. My bad. :boxed::rolleyes:

1973 K5 Blazer full removable top a little high but is it rare???

Doesn't look any different then my '88 V-Jimmy, which also has a "removable" top. It would be a PITA to keep removing it, with all the bolts and seals, but yes, it is removable.

Finally got a squarebody...for my daughter

Unless you or your daughter are planning on using the truck in a delivery service operation, most quality brake shoes should last for many years. IMHO disc brakes would be a very unnecessary modification, especially on a half ton. That being said welcome to the forum from a neighbor just to...

    79 c20 tire size help

My earliest data book is a 1983 edition. The plain Jane C20 came standard with LT215/85R16 tires ( there may have been bias-ply tires on the '73-''79 trucks, but I don't have any literature/builder info going back that far). The beefed up, HD chassis RPO CP6 came standard with LT235/85R16, as...

Needs Rescuing Good Parts Truck Deep in the NE Texas Woods

Looking at the photos in the CL listing, the truck doesn't appear to be eaten with rust. If I was younger, and had the range of motion back in all my joints, I'd offer him $400 and head SE with my truck and trailer!

    1989-1991 Burlwood dash trim plate.

I'll take it, plus the dash bezel if that's also there. Taking this to PM.

    1989-1991 Burlwood dash trim plate.

Thanks buddy. I'll probably want both the instrument bezel and the dash trim.

    1989-1991 Burlwood dash trim plate.

If anyone is parting out a 1989, 1990, or 1991 Suburban (Don't know if those years Blazer and Crewcabs with Silverado/Sierra Classic had the burlwood motif) with the Burlwood instrument and right dash trim panel, please let me know. My right dash trim panel is perfect, except for the two...

    Hello from the Midwest

Welcome from N. Texas! Reminds me of the early days of Desert Shield/Storm. After flying daily, the maintenance troops started trying to modify the Humvees that we had, just to do something beside wrenching on F-4's that, in some cases, were older than they were. Problem was there weren't...

What’s IT Worth? (Post all “what’s it worth threads here)

I saved the photo to file, then enlarged it to 459%. The way I read it, it says Sierra 25. For this era, Chevrolet used 10, 20 & 30. GMC used 10, 25 & 35. GMC 25 is a 3/4 ton, with 8 lug hubs.

Do I replace the '87 fuel tank that's on my 73 C10 (that has an 81 engine / drivetrain)?

Why does your bedside have a late model square door fuel fill? I was under the assumption that 1973-1979 (1980?) had the round cap visible.
