What have you done to your square lately??

Removed all the chrome wheel covers, PIA on gravel and cement driveway. This old back don't move as well as it used to. I had to remove the back ones to get to the extensions so might as well clean all of them up. The wheels didn't have the clip steadier installed for the extension, just the...

What have you done to your square lately??

Got permission from the landlord to bring Smokey over for some maintenance after 2.5 years in a field. Me and my darlin' went and got it today. Nothing major but want to change some tire valve extensions, fix a few rat chewed wires and polish it up a bit.

What have you done to your square lately??

I've found that oil spray coming out the back discourages tailgating. I had a 64 triumph MC that leaked like a sieve.

Clear coating over patina: anybody done it?

Bought a 50 ford for $75 back in the early 60's. ran ok but rear end howled a bit. I dropped the drive shaft to check and found out they had packed the damn thing with raw hamburger. stunk so bad I threw up.

What have you done to your square lately??

Smokey's been sitting in a field for over a year now, we go start it up regularly and a couple of weeks ago the manager of the park we live in said I could bring it over to clean/wax and do some minor maintenance. As soon as I got it here the radiator started leaking. I took it back to the...

Sorry, the link (https://www.facebook.com/groups/515218605226689) requires joining the page to view and there is no way to contact the owner otherwise. I love these techie larnin' experiences. It was a c-30 rolling chassis flatbed. Here's the info I can provide if you want to try to join the...

What have you done to your square lately??

Thanks for the input but if that's the case, I don't know why they just didn't jump directly off the fuse box, why go through the trailer brake? It's also a blue wire so if they tried to be consistent with diagrams, that would be the brake. Of course PO's don't always follow diagrams or...

What have you done to your square lately??

Went over to where the truck was stored today to do a little puttering and start it and warm it up. I wanted to figure out what the switch at the bottom of the dash went to since it didn't seem to do anything when switched on. It went from the trailer brake, to the switch then all the way down...

    Importance of charcoal (Evap) canister

Lots of info on the net for rebuilding the existing one. I was going to try to do that but just decided to dry mine out and reinstalled it instead. It passed smog and no particles coming out of it so far. Like Harry said,, are ya feeling lucky???

The original model v6 wasn't the easiest either. I had to replace a starter in this one and couldn't see it happening. So far, starter, brakes twice, battery and tires twice.plus oil when needed. Not bad for a throwaway car...

What have you done to your square lately??

Got under the dually in the dirt to check the exhaust flapper movement when hot. WTF looked like a tesla coil dancing up and down the exhaust manifold. Replaced the loose spark plug wire and damn,,, it ran like it did before I stored it. After a clean and wax, it's ready to run up and down...
