    Every valve body should have a pressure port for a 4th gear switch. Some have one for 3rd. The switch has a blue arrow pointing it out. You won’t be able to fit a socket on it with the 1-2 accumulator housing in place, you will have to use a pair of slip joint pliers to remove/reinstall.

    The main dash ground is up behind the left corner of the dash. With the dash bezel out of the way it’s easy to see. What are you trying to fix? If that main ground was bad, I don’t think anything would work. Definitely not the radio or dash lamps

    Post a pic of your switch. I have the switch that came with the column I put on my Olds. The column came from a 75 cutlass with the headlight dimmer on the turn signal switch, and just the single set button on the end of the lever.

    If this is the splice you’re looking for, it will be in each taillight harness. Find the ground screw connector, follow it towards the front of the truck. What are you working on? The main dash harness is grounded to a 5/16 bolt at the right lower corner behind the dash.

    I found that picture at the top of electrical page. I have seen where you can buy laminate complete wiring diagrams, but unless they are better quality than the crap in the factory shop manual it’s probably not worth the money. Hope that helps!!

    What are you doing for rear suspension? Mid 11s with a NA small block in a heavy truck is a lofty goal!!! If you fall a little short of your goal, there is always nitrous!!! Biggest drawback of nitrous is no matter how quick the vehicle is, it always feels like a dog when the bottle runs out!!
