Does anyone know what the thread/pitch is on the transfer case end of the speedo cable?

Thanks.

Whatever it is, it's the same as most any GM product of the 60's-80's. Because of that, it must not be metric. That's all I know, lol.

I need to find a pulse generator for an electric speedo - IIRC they come in 7/8 -18, which looks about right. Thanks.

I think that rings a bell actually. I once installed a TBI setup on an old truck using a Painless harness and had to get an inline style VSS for the speedo cable. It was a 700r4 trans.

What transmission? If it’s a 700, parts are easy to find for an electric speedometer.

Its a 700. Got the sender I needed - was for GM trans (350/400/700). They claim its the same for the transfer case. The electric speedos are easy to calibrate.

Their general application just made me want to double check everything about it. Its all good.
