Here's the 87-91 in aluminum:
No top tabs like the unit you found.
Bumper is slightyly different than the shape you got.
You can clearly see where tabs would go.
This guy is selling on eBait for $700.
You might want to fabricate a couple bends and see if it flies for $700, all day!

It sounds a bit odd the shipping is FREE?
The bent aluminum assembly is over 5 foot wide.
No top tabs like the unit you found.

It's looking fishy. The guy was adamant it came of his square body that he bought new back in the day but he couldn't recall what year it was. Looking at them in that photo, I can see the differences. The mounting tabs are exactly the same width but the one on the right has them 90 degrees off. Hmmm

Maybe an early (square) Ranger? The big Furd pickups had a much wider frame horn spacing and the grille guards I've seen on them have all been much wider, to match the frame spacing.

True. I just can't think of anything that has the bumper bolts almost on top. I did see something similar for sale recently but could tell it wasn't for a square

Bolt patterns are the same 73-87, they'll all bolt on. Bumper contour changes in 81

Yeah left looks like '81-up square. Right, I'm gonna guess late '70s Ford. They have bolts on top of the bumper

The one on the left, I personally removed from a 89 burb. The spacing between the mounting tabs on both are exactly the same. Is that just coincidence if ones a turd?

Welp, gotta go fish. It's not the Ford, I just measured. They're alot wider than the Chevy's, 31 3/4" center to center of the top bumper bolts

Looking at the picture again, that bumper contour sure does look like a '73-80 Chevy. Maybe they intended you to drill your bumper? Or maybe the tabs were moved by someone in the past?

My original guess was early, little Ford Ranger. But then I remembered the earlier Cherokee XJ. It looks like an XJ bumper contour to me.
