80 was the last year of the 70's bumpers.
The one on the right kinda looks like a ford version. Not for a square for sure..
True. I just can't think of anything that has the bumper bolts almost on top. I did see something similar for sale recently but could tell it wasn't for a squareMaybe an early (square) Ranger? The big Furd pickups had a much wider frame horn spacing and the grille guards I've seen on them have all been much wider, to match the frame spacing.
Bolt patterns are the same 73-87, they'll all bolt on. Bumper contour changes in 81It's looking fishy. The guy was adamant it came of his square body that he bought new back in the day but he couldn't recall what year it was. Looking at them in that photo, I can see the differences. The mounting tabs are exactly the same width but the one on the right has them 90 degrees off. Hmmm
Welp, gotta go fish. It's not the Ford, I just measured. They're alot wider than the Chevy's, 31 3/4" center to center of the top bumper boltsThe one on the left, I personally removed from a 89 burb. The spacing between the mounting tabs on both are exactly the same. Is that just coincidence if ones a turd?
