Spectre is pretty good. If you ever plan to do EFI or in-tank pump you can get an 87 model year tank and it comes with internal baffles.

One of my tanks is original the other is spectra. Both my sending units are spectras as well. I'm also installed a few tanks and sending units at the shop into squarebodies all have been spectra units and none of them have ever had a problem. So I would trust that brand for sure.

But I also like to mention that gasoline doesn't like moisture, and neither does metal. So if you are replacing your tank or tanks because they are in bad shape on the inside make sure your evap system is working properly. Besides controlling vapor off the fuel the system prevents moisture from getting into the tank.

Pretty sure I've got an GM11B in mine from Spectre. Seams were a little on the elongated side when putting my new tank straps across it. But nothing a rubber mallet and a deadblow couldn't handle. Bought it off Amazon for a better price than I could find anywhere else.
