Forward Cab Mount Spacer Length

I am replacing the cab mount bushings on my 73 K20. The forward spacers were pretty rusted, and I hoped they would hold up to torquing down on the new poly bushings, but they did not. I am going to make some new ones, but I am wondering what the proper length should be. Both my front ones are now compressed. Back ones are fine. Thanks.

I cannot answer the length question. But you may want to reconsider poly bushings.
First, a new set of rubber bushings will last a LONG time and will not squeak and are a bit more compliant. For a daily driver, weekender, dump runs or car shows I’d go rubber.
Poly will last longer all things equal and will be stiffer. But even if you lube them up good on install, they will have a great propensity to squeak if not re-lubed. Not something I’d want to add to my list of maint items every ____ years.
Just my 2c before you get it re-assembled.

Thanks for the input @Grit dog. I already dropped $100 on the poly bushings, so I am going to run with them. Hopefully, they are not real squeakers.
