This smooth idle engine went on to run 10.30s @ 3720 pounds in less than sea level conditions. Never under estimate a peanut port head (236) or most Chevrolet production parts, as they can deliver.

So it appears like it ran with no alt, ps, accessories and an electric water pump,
And you ran pop top pistons to squish the chamber super tight (piston pic is blurry)

How much timing did it allow at peak power

35 degrees total is where it was raced at.

Always good to see you Mark. What cc are the pistons, 20? Also what did your static compression ratio come out at? Are you running a Moroso vacuum system?
