Dyed my new rear seat armrests and installed them. Not sure if I like the color; may re-dye them to more closely match the upholstery.

Looks like the third row seat in our '79 Burb. IIRC the various plastic pieces are slightly different shades anyway so it looks okay to my eyes.
Then again, that Burb was a bit of a Heinz 57 despite being only 10 years old when we bought it in 1989; had a GM Goodwrench 350 in it and various other not OEM bits. Even though it was a Silverado it had manual windows in the doors and manual locks. Power window in the tailgate though!

Put the frame on some tires so I can move it around. To prepare for the doner Blazer to come in the shop. Got some new bumper bolts from LMC. Started polishing them up.

Finally got the bed cleaned out pretty good shape unfortunately no signs of the air cleaner so I'm going to grab one of those cheapo Edelbrock ones(I might have a OEM one I can rob off one of my other non runners) still no brakes but have everything but wheel cylinders should have it driving by next week

Had some time on a semi-sunny day, so I installed the aftermarket headlight-on warning buzzer kit from LMC truck. Happy with the results, not overly loud, but easy to hear.
This warning buzzer was an option according to the '81 owner's manual and the service book shows how it fits:

My fuseblock has the IGN and LPS plug in connections on the lower left, convenient to reach:

The buzzer kit is pretty generic for about $20 but has everything I needed. Basic 12-volt buzzers can be found pretty cheap.

Functions as intended, buzzes when lamps are "ON", and key is "OFF". I don't have any of the official chevy wire connectors that are keyed to plug into the fuse block, so I used the included brass adapters, they pushed in with a tiny flat blade screwdriver. I suppose I will start finding and stocking the official connectors. Self-stick pad holds it on the side.
Finished look:

Dropped my Blazer off at the Rear End shop after spending the last two years doing a frame off restoration including LS swap and new trans. The rear end gears 3.07 were way too tall after putting 33" tires and a 4L60E transmission. Can't wait to get her back.

Thanks. I think I’ll leave them as is after looking at it for a day. Hey, it’s a great match for the seatbelts! lol
I don't think any two pieces of trim inside my truck are the same color. And it is 100% orig, It never did match.

Looks like the same color I got and did the roof and A pillar trim pieces with.
I need to do the door panels kick panels b pillar panels etc. the door panels have faded to an almost pinkish color. Although I think the original was a bit darker. Although it think it will match the interior well once I have all the pieces the same color

Considering our interiors look the same, what color is your carpet? Or do you have a floor mat.
Mine looks orange-ish brown and it needs carpet but I like this color and the brown looks different and the orange carpet looks too light orange.

Follow up to my recent post about the headlight on warning buzzer. If anyone has some of the factory wire connectors that plug in to the fuse panel, I would pay for one that fits LPS and IGN if you have some extras. I searched and they seem to be scarce. Pico wiring makes the black for BAT and clear for IGN, but cheapest is at summit racing for $4 each, plus shipping.

Other than these, seems that original taps are commanding lots of dollars being "vintage". If some reasonably priced originals can't be had, then my push in blades will have to do.

I sure miss the days at Pick-a-part and Pull Ur Own back in San Diego, nothing like that here in NW Montana,
