Hello from Paris, France.

I bought few months ago a C1500, long bed, California Sundancer, 1987.
It has a nice patina, so for the moment I don't want to repaint it, but I've already refurbished the interior (dashboard, carpet, sound system, seats...) and imported the original wheels.
Now I have to concentrate on electric issues (the stop lights fuse keeps blowing + the right fuel tank is not connected),
I would like also to find the original Smittybilt front bumpers (very hard, especially to have it in France) and a bed cover.

See you soon

Cedric

Bon jour and welcome from Autriche. Nice truck.
If your truck has electrical issues you may should think about rewiring it with a Painless or American Autowire Harness.
I saw this one but not for EFI (fuel injection) like mine https://painlessperformance.com/pro...-1987-gm-truck-chassis-harness-part-no-20205/
I have ordered and received a new stop light switch and I received also the switch into the steering wheel that is managing the turn signal, I will see if it changes sth. I have both stop light and radio on the same fuse, not sure it is a factory setup as there is one fuse dedicated for Radio...

The TBI harness is an additional harness.

Radio and brake lights are definitely not on the same fuse. Buy a service manual and a wiring diagram for your truck, this helps a lot for finding what the previous owner messed up.
