16.5's are still available. The selection is very limited, but you can still buy them.

Got the wheels on finally - My poor truck needs so much work...I'll make a new thread about that. I'm happy with the wheels except it makes the rest of my truck look really bad.

Also I will probably be switching out the 2" lift for a 4" because it will give me a little more clearance to put uncut front fenders on...but that's a long way away.

If you haven't pulled the trigger and are considering options, I bought extended tip spline drive lug nuts from these guys and was happy with the them --> LugNutGuys

I second lugnutguys. They actually had the correct acorn-shank lugnuts to put my Spyders on my GMC and less than $30 shipped. Nobody made the correct style metric lugnuts when the wheels were new.

Do you need a "special secret" shaped socket to remove and install them?

Looks good, Those are the only rims I like now days since Eagle Alloys 058 are no more. And I cant stand all the new, butt ugly, star wars, techno rims

@JD Miller I ordered a set of 20 and it came with a thin wall spline drive socket. You can also order the socket separate if that's all you need (I bought a spare to keep in the truck). Note that there are different spline counts, so the lug nuts and socket need to match (six vs. seven, etc).

lug nut:

I did a test fit with just the rim before taking them down to get tires (BFG AT 35x12.5x17) added and they fit very similar to what the truck had (Weld 16.5x9.5) Similar offset. A tiny bit wider (5mm) but they only offer 1 size so that made my decision a lot easier.

The problem I had is my lug nuts are old and gross, but also I can't get a socket in the hole to tighten them. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe the locking style to protect my investment a little.

Something like these - or is this cheap stuff that I'll end up regretting?
