Not a squarebody question, but I figured there has got to be others here with 88-98 trucks as well. I bought a Delphi TPS sensor the other day and holy crap, it was cheap plastic BS. The keyed portion that connects to the throttle blade shaft was crooked and halfway popped out of the housing. Sent it back.

Has anyone had a Delco TPS in hand lately? I've heard that Delphi has gone downhill, heard the same about Delco as well.

Just wondered if anyone can recommend a decent TPS sensor that feels like its worth more than 15 cents.

I used Standard on my two Vortecs, and they were made properly and work fine. Delco has really changed and not for the better it sounds like.... Back in the day, AC Delco was what Dad used on all our GM vehicles, and what we sold and recommended at the parts store.

See if you can find one made by ACUITY. They're Hall Effect and much better than the potentiometer type.
I'm still searching the junkyards. Those things ain't cheep!
