Which is 1980 and older

@bucket was it 198..3? and older..? I cant remember lol. 1984, iirc, is the year the adapters changed a lot and so did crossmembers, so i think thats the year of the difference.

The figure 8 205 was used through '84, in (civilian) 1-tons. Lighter trucks got the more universal, round pattern setup (with 208) starting in '81. Everything had the flat style crossmember and "tall" adapters through '84. In '85, everything got "short" style, round pattern adapters. Including the 205's in the (civilian) 1-tons. And the flat style crossmembers were no more in '85.
