I don't know if this will help anyone or not. But the way I have redrilled hubs and rotors. I took a wheel adapter I had and drove the studs out,bolted it firmly to the hub and rotor and used the blank holes left by taking the studs out to transfer punch my bolt pattern. Level everything on a drill press and redrill, done it lots of times,so far so good.

I'm going to have to do that to my front rotors. I can't find a set of matching wheels in a 5 on 5. 5 on 4.75 is all I can find. So I'll be doing the some thing.

That's a great idea. I have a set of spacers I can use.

My next door neighbors that I cut their lawn when I cut mine got me this. She wasn't sure if I had a use for it...lol. oh Mr. Clean has a use.

wow, seeing that made me think why not zip tie a magnet to those small items that are hanging. Snap and your done. I've got chains, hoses, adapters and other misc hung by nails that drop like a fly if touched.

Well $h|t, there's an idea for ya.

I made this sawzall powered wire brush a while back, posted right after I did it. Thought some might like to see it,makes cleaning threads etc. much faster and easier. It's just a junk Sawzall blade I had laying around and a junk wire brush. Drilled 2 holes sunk 2 screws. Done.

The way I was going to do it,but got lazy was Sawzall down the center of the blade then drill screw holes all the way through. I still think it would be better that way,but this works and was stupid easy.

I love tools, but as I work on all sorts of vehicles, I have a more universal kit with metric and SAE sizes and lots of bits and it comes in a blow mold stupid box. I use it all the time. This one from HOBO junk for $40. But, It works well on many vehicles. Customers always ask me "HUH, how'd you get the steering wheel off?"

Easy enough without buying anything. Take an appropriate sized junk socket cut 2 pie shaped wedges out with a cutoff wheel. Place a washer on top thread a nut and bolt through the washer and socket. Honestly I think I've done it with just the washer bolt,nut,and socket. No windows in it.

Is that the tool to remove the pivot pin? The pic isn't that great and part of the name is flash reflection.

I have that exact tool. You can make one but as cheap as that is, IMO just buy it. It'll be one of those things that you'll lose cuz it's small, no case, and rarely gets used. I think I've bought at least 2 in my life.
