Jumping Jack Flash !

Finding a adapter was a major chore ...

Had to be able to work the telescopic lever ...
Found one that had the right dimensions for the Raptor's bolt pattern ...

Getting a few bucks wrapped up in this tricked out column ...
Close to 9 C-notes so far .. Eek
If my labor was $100 a hour ... Aaaaaa, I don't want to think about it !

Be here Monday ...
Found two other adapters that are for telescopic columns ,,
They was two piece designed ... I liked this one cause it was a solid piece ...

Since the old Binder had seen some fat added to the body thought was to fatten up the steering wheel ..

Keeping the dark walnut look ...

I do like the wood and black leather wheel, but this one has "Beef" written all over it ..

Well ... Since I was undecided on which steering wheel to get I consulted the "Magic 8 Ball", it said the Wood & Leather wheel ... So be it !

Got a idea on how to go about hiding the one inch gap ..

Do a counter bore down into the adapter with a slight press fit for the Oem Cadillac sleeve ... Gap be gone .. !

The horn parts was a bit of work to load into the adapter .. Holes didn't line up plus the hole for the plastic nose needed to be drilled larger .. Small stuff ..

Sure has been a major chore working the column from one end to the other ..

Do think once it's installed back in the truck and grinning like a alligator, it'll be worth the effort and expense ?

Looks great to me. But, if you're the one that it'll grind on, you have to decide. I personally wouldn't even notice it.

Drilling a 1-1/2" hole in the wall for all the shi ... errrr stuff to go though, then this chuck of billet will cap the hole and the wires has a 1-5/8" grommet hole at the bottom ...

So many holes to fill and one to drill ..
