Wiper issues

I am working on my 83 gmc k2500 trying to get my wipers to work. I pull the wiper switch out and the switch is not connected to anything in the harness. I don’t see any plugs behind the dash that would plug into the delay module. The only thing I see that would plug into it would be plug that looks like plugs into the coolant sensor from what the part number shows. I’m at a loss from what belongs where. Here are pictures of what I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated

W/O CD4 (the pulse module ) Wires go to wiper washer switch- is sort of hard to read.

This is what I was looking at. Those colored wires are plugged into the low coolant module which is odd because both the wiper delay and low coolant module both work with the pigtail with those colored wires

My new Cardone motor does not stop at the bottom of the window.

It now ruins the wipers over the the rubber windshield seal, if you locate the blades at the motor stop location from the factory.

So I had to relocate the wiper arms to defeat this failure.
Now my wipers end in the middle of the winshield.

How's that for quality control?

Cardone let me down again.

Can anyone explain how to reset the stop point of the motor. without ruining it?
Or is it setup inside the crimped case housing before it ships?

That’s what I was looking at also but don’t see those wires in the dash. I’m extremely confused over Al this hahaa

You might have to up a model year to get the correct diagram, if they changed the wiring half way through production.

Just posted my 87' Blazer diagrams from the 87' manuals are all wrong.
The 88' diagram worked though.

Be careful not to trust the signal wanring lamp diagrams (as far as power to lamp to ground), as a 100% correct electrical path. Especially based upon a diagram you know does not match your wiring harness or lights.

GM switched between wiring the lights in-line with a white to a black wire at the lamp socket and the black does NOT go to ground.

It may work in between the same circuit and just change colors from black to white and the computer or a sensor adds ground. Be careful what you think is standard wiring policy.

The manuals are often full of mistakes and GM changed grounding to series wiring in the middle of model years. I posted the links where the GM Repair Team stated this in another forum, just last week in my electrical wiring thread, if you are interested in confirming my opnion.
