Im looking for a set of body mount bushings for a 78 K 20 truck
I need all three sets
I have The PST bushing set but i do not have any of the original hardware ( the insert sleeves ) which PST says are needed
Does anyone have a set or can anyone tell me if the two wheel drive and four-wheel drive are the same
There is a 78 blazer that's local but its 2 WD

Never heard of a 2WD Blazer. Sounds kinda suspicious.

Asking out of curiosity, what happened to the ones on the truck? It’s not like people are frequently changing those out.

They were produced until ‘82.
That’s crazy. I’ve only ever heard of their designation as K5, with K = 4WD. Never heard of C5. Must not have been very many of them.

Mounts are different between C10/20 and K10/20 pickups, Ks are larger.
I’d assume it was the same for the Blazer.
I was looking also, they are on back order most places but did find them at CJ Pony, they have truck parts.

They all carry the “K5” badge / designation until it was dropped completely around 88 or so.

Try LMC. Update, I checked, looks like they have what you're looking for.

Why can't you just buy some tubing and cut some sleeves.

I'm replacing my bushings soon because I recently noticed my bushings are shot/got. Found these but was not sure if this was a good set.

go on to the LMC truck site and have a good look at their assembly drawings. You can clearly see the difference between different generations of truck There are at least 3x different set-ups for the Sqbdy blazer generations, mainly due to the flatter frame rail profile on the later trucks to accomodate the "tilt/tumble" rear seat.
They show the different sets for C and K trucks also, as well as single / dual cabs etc. Just check you have the right year and drive train when you search their drawings, and you can see the differences. If you check through the individual part numbers below, you will find there are a lot of parts that are interchangeable also.
I found the best deal was either a full OEM rubber set, or a full urethane set ( but then you have to go back through the OEM set up and pick out the bolts and washers you need that are missing in the urethane aftermarket sets ).
Jury is out on Urethane v. rubber longevity. Urethane will be stiffer, so probably better for panel alignment etc., and should last as non-rotating ( apparently this is not good material for suspension joints - despite all the advertising to say they are ). How long they last will wait to be seen. OEM rubber lasts for at least 30-40 years ( as thats when we start to replace them on old trucks ) but I have had urethane bushed totally crap out after 10 years, so...

Yes, there were 2WD Blazers, but they still wore the K5 badges.
