Totally normal, every vehicle I've ever owned measures slightly different from side to side. The only one's I've ever gotten dead nuts level were torsion bar trucks and they still didn't measure dead nuts all the time depending on how much fuel was in them. Yep, very common with the '73-80 trucks if the hinges are not regularly cleaned and lubed. Also, alot of people don't know how to properly close them. You don't just pull straight down, you have to push back toward the windshield as well- TotalyHucked

That square headlight front end is '80 only and a specific core support/headlight bezels and also '79/80 had it's own hood with a little raised detail on the front edge. C20 suburban lowering issues
You can't judge how the truck sits with new springs just by lowering the lift, you need to roll it back and forth. How much of a drop are you looking for? Color blind! Burgundy or Maroon?
^What these guys said. Maroon/burgundy is kinda the same thing and everybody's version of it is slightly different regardless if it's a part that's already dyed or if you buy dye to change something. I've never heard them called anything but steel wheels but if there was another name for them from GM, I'm sure @Keith Seymore would know. Only 95k. Granted, it's had some sort of level kit on it most of it's life. It had a 2" when I bought it and then I put the 3" on it.
